Parsons Electric
Parsons Electric is an established leader in providing quality electrical installations and services to customers nationwide. With over 700 employees, Parsons needed a custom e-Learning system to streamline their training programs. Rivertown Communications designed and developed over 40 hours of effective custom training to meet Parsons' needs. To keep development costs down and to simplify the updating of the training we used our proprietary Inspire LCMS ™ system. Inspire also provided course management and learner tracking functionality.

Minnesota Department of Health
Rivertown often produces training projects in multiple languages. A recent project for the Minnesota Department of Health was a video based training on infant nutrition for young Somali parents. The narration was in Somali with Somali and English subtitles. Rivertown fulfilled all project requirements including field research, instructional design, scripting, translations and video and audio production.
Aquacide Company
Aquacide Company was formed in 1956 to produce and market Aquacide Pellets for the control of lake weeds. Since that time they have grown considerably and so has their product line. A large inventory of products is maintained to insure they always can meet specific customer needs. To present and manage this product line, Rivertown Communications developed a data driven website (ColdFusion). The website is easy to update as new products are added to inventory. Customer orders are automatically put into the Aquacide accounting system from the website.

Land O’ Lakes
Land O’Lakes is one of the largest food and agricultural services companies in the world and has an international presence. Rivertown Communications has developed a series of e-Learning modules to help Land O’ Lakes train affiliates worldwide on food production, safety and sanitary topics. Prime Therapeutics
Rivertown Communications is developing a library of training modules for Prime Therapeutics. These modules are Internet based and created with Adobe Flash. Current topics include; Generic Drugs, Diabetes, Cholesterol Cure, Respiratory/COPD, High Blood Pressure and Depression. The modules include an integrated survey which captures viewer evaluations with the results available to Prime administration in real time.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention/NIOSH
We’re helping CDC/NIOSH produce an e-Learning and video training module to train construction workers how to prevent accidents in and around trenches. Because many of the affected workers speak only Spanish, the production will be in Spanish with Spanish and English subtitles. Rivertown is handling the complete production including scripting, translation, video and audio taping, producing “trench collapse” animations, video editing and e-Learning authoring.
Department of Veterans Affairs
Rivertown Communications reauthored an existing four hour training on diagnosing “Post Traumatic Stress Disorder” for the VA. The original e-Learning module was not accessible and had numerous functional problems. We completely redesigned the program with a new interface and navigation. The new module meets all accessibility requirements and is available online as opposed to the original CD-ROM delivery.
